Their cakes and sweets are out of this world. Take home a loaf or two of homemade bread for the greatest toast ever with the jams and jellies on sale. Prices are extremely fair and the staff is always friendly.

Bought oatmeal bread and a pan of cinnamon rolls at The Aiken Maken Event. Deliciously tasty and worth every bite! Now, I can hardly wait to visit them in Wagener!!
They have locally-harvested honey and jam products -- BUY SOME! I especially love the whipped honey on some hot toast! The homemade breads are delicious. They have two coolers full of made-from-scratch baked goods - cookies, cakes, donuts, etc. DEFINITELY try a homemade old-fashioned plain donut and a 'bear claw' as well! So good!! This shop is run by a bunch of Mennonite families and they know how to bake the right way!! The interior is quite pleasant with the décor. I promise you won't be disappointed! America needs more places likes this and less fast-food chains!
GREAT small-town, locally-owned shop!! I've eaten here countless times when at work. They're sandwiches are to die for!! They pile on the meats, grill the homemade bread and they get your toppings and condiments right every time!
